Trying to figure out what is next

I love shooting sports, but I need to broaden my horizons. I would like to start venturing into portraiture.

At home, I have 3 wonderful test subjects, but I have nowhere to set up to practice without it being a big production.

I need to figure out how to break into portraiture, whether it is sports related, lifestyle or more sophisticated. Should I put out a model call? Maybe I can find subjects in other ways. I know I have a wealth of potential subjects that I could pool from that are connected to sports, which would not be a bad start.

Posing, wardrobe, location, and so on are also important elements.
